Greetings and WELCOME to my web site!

I am John Gibbons - an Electrical Design Engineer by degree and a tinkerer / hobbiest who still enjoys playing around with / building things to learn how they work. I am also one of the many ham radio operators licensed here in the USA (Amateur Extra license class). I have too many hobbies that occupy my free time and this web site is an attempt to share some of the "fun" things that I spend my time on with you. The intent is to share this information in hopes that it might inspire you to try something new as well - or at least to think of something in a different perspective than you did before.
